Two Port Solenoid Valve

Can be referred to as Two Port Two Way (2/2).
Can be Normally Closed (requires electrical power to the Solenoid Coil Terminals) to Open. Valve closes when power is removed. Normally Open (electrical power to Close).

 

Three Port Solenoid Valve

Can be referred to as Three Port Two Way (3/2).
Can be Normally Closed, Normally Open or Universal. The function of this valve depends entirely upon the pressure of the media. A Universal version is available, which can allow pressure from any of the ports.

Five Port Solenoid Valve

Referred to as Five Port Two Way (5/2), or Five Port Three Way (5/3).
These Solenoid Valves have multiple positions, and are usually used for air pilot onto an Actuated Ball Valve. Model versions: 5/2 Single Solenoid Coil. 5/2 Double Solenoid Coil. 5/3 Double Solenoid Coil Closed Centres. 5/3 Double Solenoid Coil Open Centres.
